We bring people together in ways that foster a positive and active lifestyle.

We are committed to creating an atmosphere of fun that encourages students to participate in many activities. In fulfilling our mission to “Have Fun and Be Active,” we aspire to be the best part of your day.

The mission of Campus Recreation at Adelphi is to foster a healthy and active lifestyle among the campus community. In promoting our motto to “Have Fun, Be Active!”, Campus Recreation aspires to be the best part of your day!

Through competitive sports, fitness and a variety of recreational activities and events, we are dedicated to:

  • Promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
  • Supporting the university’s goal to create a full student life experience as well as a positive work environment for faculty and staff.
  • Creating a welcoming and safe environment that encourages participation and involvement.
  • Developing a sense of community and school pride.
  • Contributing to the university’s goal to be relentless in support of student success through personal growth and student/staff development.
