Cat Cup Challenge

Teamwork fosters community among Adelphi students.

The Cat Cup Challenge began in 1994 as a means to develop a sense of unity within each residence hall building and provide fun and unique activities for resident students. This year-long competition among the buildings is made up of a series of events such as the annual Kickoff, Scavenger Hunt and Last Blast.

Students compete on teams to win prizes and earn points for their residential building or commuter group. A large trophy (the Cat Cup), located in the Campus Recreation office, is engraved with each year’s overall winner.
