Group Fitness

Work out in a group setting for extra motivation.

Each semester we offer several group fitness classes to students, faculty and staff on a first come, first serve basis.

Group Fitness is for everyone, regardless of your fitness level! We offer fitness caters to a wide range of interests, physical abilities, and times to suit your schedule.

Our classes include: Yoga, Cycle, Kickboxing, Zumba, Butts ‘N’ Guns, Power Sculpt, Boot Camp, and Rock Hard Abs. See class descriptions.

These classes include aerobic conditioning, strength and endurance training; as well as weight-based and mind-body workouts.

With a vast selection of classes, inspiring instructors and motivating music, group fitness is one of the most fun and effective ways to get in shape and lead a healthy lifestyle.

One-time fee for the whole summer of classes:

$20 for Students
$40 for Faculty, Staff, CRS Members and Alumni

Cash or check accepted.

To register: Come to Campus Recreation office in Woodruff Hall Room 240.

Mats are provided for all classes

Classes and locations are subject to change.

Studio is located in Woodruff Hall on the 3rd floor, Room 304

Woodruff Hall Gym is located on the 2nd floor of Woodruff Hall

Racquet Courts are located on the 3rd floor of Woodruff Hall

Spring and Fall Semester Registration

Classes are free for faculty/staff and students. To register stop by the Campus Rec Office in Woodruff Hall 240 or register online using your Adelphi email address:

  1. Create an account with IMleagues using your Adelphi email address
  2. Go to your email and click on the link to activate your account
  3. Click on the “Group Fitness” tab and sign up for any class
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions of the waiver
  5. You will now be able to attend any group fitness class of your choosing!
