Group Fitness


Work out in a group setting for extra motivation.

Each semester we offer several group fitness classes to students, faculty and staff on a first come, first serve basis.

Group Fitness is for everyone, regardless of your fitness level!

Our classes include: Yoga, Cycle, Kickboxing, Zumba, Butts ‘N’ Guts, Bandilates, Boot Camp, and Pilates. See class descriptions.

These classes include aerobic conditioning, strength and endurance training; as well as weight-based and mind-body workouts.

Group fitness caters to a wide range of interests, physical abilities, and times to suit your schedule.

With a vast selection of classes, inspiring instructors and motivating music, group fitness is one of the most fun and effective ways to get in shape and lead a healthy lifestyle.

  • Bandilates

    • Bandilates is Pilates, but it will incorporate exercise bands to help aid more flexibility, balance and strength!

  • Boot Camp

    • Boot Camp is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Class. It alternates periods of short intense exercise, followed by less intense recovery periods. Panther Power is highly cardiovascular and incorporates body weight exercises and movements.Panther Power will increase your strength, endurance and burn lots of calories!
  • Butts ‘N’ Guts

    • We will strengthen and tone the core area of the body including your abs, back, and butt! Let’s kick some butt and burn some calories in this quick tracked class which will leave you begging for more.
  • Cycle

    • Cycle is an exciting and motivating class that can help increase strength and endurance. This can be a high or low intensity work out, it’s all up to you! You control and adjust the resistance to give your body the perfect work out!
  • Kickboxing

    • Kickboxing is form of martial art that combines boxing with elements of karate. This class offers aerobic conditioning while strengthening and toning your muscles through a series of punches and kicks.

  • Pilates

    • Pilates is a mat based, and core strengthening class that incorporate flexibility and toning. Pilates is an exercise method which aims to create a balance in the body. It is designed to cater for the individual needs of each person.
  • Yoga

    • Yoga follows a vinyasa flow style and is suitable for all fitness levels. During Yoga you will practice postures and breathing exercises to make you healthier in mind, body and spirit. Yoga stresses the importance of listening to your body and lets you tune in, chill out, and shape up!

  • Zumba

    • Zumba is a cardio-based workout designed for everyone and caters to all levels. ZUMBA is a combination of Latin and International music and dance. Routines feature interval training with slow and fast rhythms to maximize a total body workout.
