During open swim times, lanes are designated for lap swimming and access to the pool is through the recreation locker rooms in the lower level of the CRS.
Each semester, Campus Recreation offers non-credit Learn-to-Swim courses for the Adelphi community at two beginner levels. Classes are limited to small number of participants. This allows instructors to focus on individual students and their skill development. Classes meet twice a week for 45 minutes over the course of 5 weeks for a total of 10 classes. Proper bathing suit is required as well as a commitment to attend all class sessions.
